CompTIA A+ Cohort Instructor – Nashville, TN

Part-Time | Contract | $40/hr | January–June 2026

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for teaching and helping others succeed? EJO Ventures is looking for a CompTIA A+ Cohort Instructor to lead and inspire the next generation of tech talent in Nashville, TN.

This is a 6-month contract (Jan–June 2026) with the potential for future cohorts. As an instructor, you’ll share your expertise, guide students through hands-on labs, and prepare them for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 (1101) and Core 2 (1102) exams—equipping them with the skills to launch successful IT careers.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging in-class and online (synchronous) sessions.

• Provide hands-on training in PC hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.

• Deliver lessons using multiple instructional methods (lecture, demonstrations, flipped classroom, tutoring).

• Prepare students for A+ exams and support their certification goals.

• Offer one-on-one and small group tutoring as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• CompTIA A+ certification (required).

• 1+ years of teaching/training experience with adult learners (preferred: A+ instruction).

• 3+ years of IT experience in support, networking, repair, or related fields.

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Experience with Google Classroom or similar LMS.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Teams.

Schedule & Location

• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday–Friday

• Additional hours may be required for planning, exam proctoring, and meetings.

• Must be able to commute or relocate to Nashville, TN.

Requirements

• Must pass background check and 10-panel drug screen.

• Provide documentation of credentials, certifications, and licenses.

Compensation

• Starting at $40/hr.
