We're Hiring: Digital Signage Technician
Location: Birmingham (BHM Airport)
Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | $25/hour
EJO Ventures is a leading Aviation IT Design/Consulting, Systems Integration, and Project Management firm. We’re expanding our team and seeking a Digital Signage Technician to support ongoing maintenance and service of airport technology systems at Birmingham - Shuttlesworth International Airport.
This is a part-time freelance opportunity (approx. 6–10 hours/week), ideal for someone looking to supplement their income with flexible hours. You’ll have the ability to build your own schedule while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced aviation tech environment.
What You’ll Do:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support digital signage and IT systems at GSP Airport
Follow instructions from supervisors and IT stakeholders
Support uptime and performance of airport technology systems
Follow standard IT security practices and safety procedures
Review IT and construction plans; maintain clean, safe workspaces
Work with digital media players, A/V equipment, network devices, and displays
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with IT systems and tools (laptops, tablets, smart devices)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking equipment, and IT best practices
Comfort working on active construction sites and using basic power tools
Familiarity with scissor and boom lifts
Reliable transportation and ability to work independently
Military experience or IT/construction certifications preferred
No college degree required—just proven experience and the right attitude
Requirements:
10-year background check and 10-panel drug screening
Valid driver's license and proof of work eligibility
Steel toe boots, safety vest, and hard hat required onsite
